Design course at Hanyang University in Seoul, South Korea.
I spend a summer studying in South Korea under the old chief designer for Kia Motors. During my time there the assignment was to create a link between korean culture and western culture. I chose to design a table based on the korean flag, letters and water mills. Here I worked with the differences in dining culture. Aspects such as different seatings and incorporated grills in tables were considered. I also acted as a graphical assistant for other students. My project received a 100/ 100 point rating at the end - which was the highest received in class.
